Why become a member

The opportunities in joining an industry association are endless, and it is no different when security providers and manufacturers make their choice to belong to the Minnesota Electronic Security and Technology Association (MNESTA).  Here are the top reasons that industry professionals have joined our long standing association:

  1. Knowledge is Power: You will be affiliated with a local organization that provides you with the current information that affects your day-to-day business.  You will have access to industry issues and what is being done to improve both your company and the entire industry.  Evidence of this are the efforts our association has made in successfully negotiating alarm ordinances with several Minnesota cities to allow our members to continue operating their business seamlessly.
  2. Developing Business Relationships: Being part of MNESTA builds reputability with both customers and other industry professionals.  All of our members subscribe by published standards as set forth by our association.
  3. Size Does Matter:  When you join MNESTA you become part of a large group of powerful businesses that give you and the rest of the members a more powerful presence and voice in the local and national government when having to deal with issues that matter the most.
  4. Membership has its Privileges:  Members of MNESTA take advantage of many benefits including free training that is CEU certified so that our members can maintain their licenses in the State of Minnesota.
  5. Our Members are in Good Company: MNESTA provides invaluable opportunities to network

with industry leaders and other local businesses in a non-threatening atmosphere that allows ideas to flow freely while benefiting your business and the industry as a whole.

For more information on how to become a member of MNESTA view our Becoming a Member page.  We look forward to seeing you at our next General Membership Meeting!
